The irony and humor around our getting together is so crazy. First, Vicky had noticed me and was interested in me. Second, I locked eyes one day when I was chasing one of her friends and was smitten. I wanted to find out who she was. I hacked the entire college to try and find out who she was. But in 1990, there were no pictures just names and info. And during this time I had gotten the reputation of being the creepy guy in the computer lab. And here is the real kicker, Vicky and I were in the same class but I did not notice because I arrived early, sat in the front and left first. When we finally connected and she asked me out I was totally down but my paycheck from Burger King had not come in yet and I had no money. That is when this scene happened. I am so glad that it did not stop with me mentioning I had no money because I was totally down to date her and 36 years later (35 years married) I would not have ever wanted anyone else.
